Do you lack energy and want it now!

We have 3 Energies:
- Physical
- Mental
- Spiritual
What is Physical Energy:
What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word energy?  I automatically thought of the Energizer Bunny that keeps on going and going and going. . . We have 3 different energies; they can be positive or negative which can really help you or hurt you in life!  The first energy is physical.  God gave us one body and we must take care of it to get optimum physical energy.  Our body is made to move and if all we do is sit at a desk 8 hours/day, 5 days per week; we will die younger!  So take care of your body and gain as much energy as possible!

Follow these steps below:
1.  The first 5 minutes and last 5 minutes of every day I want you to practice deep breathing.  Close your eyes and Inhale through your nose, hold a few seconds in and then exhale through your mouth.  This will decrease your stress level and start and end your day right!
2.  Eat 5 servings of vegetables and 3 servings of fruit every day.  Tip:  Make a fruit/vegetable smoothie; Delicious!

3.  Stay Hydrated:  8 cups of water per day.  Most of us live dehydrated.  We must take in at least 8 cups per day to stay hydrated.
4.  Exercise:  start with 15 minutes per day with your favorite physical activity:  Sport, Dance, Step, Treadmill, weights, or pilates/yoga.  Start with 15 minutes every day then build to 20 minutes the next week and continue. . . this will give you confidence instead of devastating yourself when you try to get on treadmill for 30 minutes at 5 mph because you could do it 3 months ago.  Click on this link to watch and do a resistance band workout:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bs0t-g42HAU.  Have Fun!
5.  Daily Activity:  Use Stairs instead of elevator, Park away from store entrance and walk, stand up when you talk on the phone.  You will burn 500-700 more calories per day.  Do it!!!
6.  Outline your stresses and find obstacles to them today!  All problems are small if we believe them to be!

7.  Sleep 7-8 hours per night to recover your body.  This will decrease your stress and increase your alertness!
Take Action Today & REACH YOUR PERSONAL BEST!
